Having personnel on-site that are expertly
trained in the use of Automated External
Defibrillation (AED) provides the victim with
rapid defibrillation access before EMS arrival,
greatly increasing the chance of survival.
Training includes recognition of unresponsive
victims, review of equipment operation and
maintenance, discussion of treatment and valuable
hands-on practice designed to increase skills.
AED Video
Covers public access to AEDs. This video has
realistic scenarios and step-by-step instructions
for AED use. 22 minutes.
AED Student Handbook
Covers public access to AEDs and simple
instructions for layperson’s use of AEDs. This
handbook provides educational pictorials and
illustrations.
Nationally Recognized Student Completion Cards
Gives immediate feedback to students and confirms
learning objectives are met. Completion cards are
included with student books.
